Charmaine Fopoussi

Charmaine Fopoussi is in demand as a vocal coach, accompanist, and chamber musician. She holds a MMus in Collaborative Piano from Western University where she had the privilege of studying with Dr. John Hess as well as a BMus from Wilfrid Laurier University where she studied with Boyd McDonald, a life-long mentor.

 

She has performed with numerous artists and organizations, including Guy Few, Penderecki String Quartet, Bethany Horst, Menno Singers, Guelph Youth Singers, Stratford Concert Choir, UWOpera, McGill Opera, NUMUS, INNERchamber, as well as being a vocal coach at Western University for the past 14 years.

 

Recent engagements include the Eckhardt-Grammatté National Music Competition with Katy Clark (2nd place), a Nadia Boulanger Song Recital, and Grand River Opera’s Turn of the Screw by Britten. She is currently a busy vocal coach in her hometown of Stratford.
